Minister Anand spoke with her Egyptian counterpart, Minister Abdelatty, to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East. She underscored Canada’s commitment to de-escalation and reaffirmed our readiness to contribute to these efforts. 

Minister Anand also thanked Egypt for its leadership in promoting diplomatic solutions. The Ministers agreed to remain in close contact as they continue to advance efforts toward peace and stability in the region.

تحدثت الوزيرة أناند مع نظيرها المصري، الوزير عبد العاطي، لمناقشة آخر التطورات في الشرق الأوسط. وأكدت التزام كندا بخفض التصعيد، وجددت استعدادها للمساهمة في هذه الجهود.

كما شكرت الوزيرة أناند مصر على دورها القيادي في تعزيز الحلول الدبلوماسية. واتفق الوزيران على البقاء على اتصال وثيق لمواصلة الجهود الرامية إلى تحقيق السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة.
