On March 9th, 2026 members of the Board of the Canada Arab Congress on Middle East and North Africa Relations (CACMR) were honoured to attend the 10th Annual Eid/Ramadan Dinner hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada in collaboration with the Ahmadiyya Parliamentary Friendship Association.
The distinguished gathering took place at the Sir John A. Macdonald Building on Parliament Hill at the Parliament of Canada, bringing together leaders from Parliament, diplomacy, public service, journalism, faith communities, and civil society from across Canada.
CACMR representatives were also delighted to reconnect and engage with many of our valued friends and colleagues from diplomatic and government circles, including Hon. Robert Oliphant, Hon. Evan Solomon, MP Yvan Baker, MP Abdelhaq Sari, MP Salma Zahid, Hon. Ahmed Hussen, MP Fayçal El-Khoury, Mayor Mark Sutcliffe, and Hon. Stephen Lecce, among many other distinguished guests from across Canada’s diplomatic, political and community leadership circles.
Held under the theme “A Night of Unity – Inspiring Peaceful Solutions for Our Nation,” the event provided an important opportunity for dialogue, reflection, and engagement during the holy month of Ramadan. The evening highlighted the shared values of compassion, understanding, and cooperation that are essential to strengthening Canada’s diverse and inclusive society.
CACMR representatives were pleased to participate in this meaningful annual gathering, which has become a significant tradition in Ottawa’s National Capital Region over the past decade. The event continues to serve as a valuable platform for fostering interfaith dialogue and strengthening relationships between community leaders and policymakers.
The Canada Arab Congress on Middle East and North Africa Relations remains committed to promoting constructive dialogue, partnership, and collaboration between Canada and the Middle East and North Africa region, while supporting initiatives that advance unity, mutual respect, and peaceful engagement within Canadian society.

أعضاء مجلس إدارة المؤتمر الكندي العربي للعلاقات مع الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا يحضرون مأدبة عيد الفطر/رمضان السنوية العاشرة في البرلمان الكندي
في التاسع من مارس/آذار 2026، تشرف أعضاء مجلس إدارة الكونجرس الكندي العربي لعلاقات الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا (CACMR) بحضور مأدبة عيد الفطر/رمضان السنوية العاشرة التي استضافتها الجماعة الإسلامية الأحمدية في كندا بالتعاون مع جمعية الصداقة البرلمانية الأحمدية.
أقيم هذا اللقاء المرموق في مبنى السير جون أ. ماكدونالد في مبنى البرلمان الكندي، حيث جمع قادة من البرلمان والدبلوماسية والخدمة العامة والصحافة والمجتمعات الدينية والمجتمع المدني من مختلف أنحاء كندا.
كما سُرّ ممثلو الكونجرس الكندي العربي بالتواصل مجددًا مع العديد من الأصدقاء والزملاء الأعزاء من الأوساط الدبلوماسية والحكومية، بمن فيهم معالي روبرت أوليفانت، ومعالي إيفان سولومون، والنائب إيفان بيكر، والنائب عبد الحق ساري، والنائبة سلمى زاهد، حضر الفعالية كل من أحمد حسين، والنائب فيصل الخوري، ورئيس بلدية أوتاوا مارك سوتكليف، ومعالي ستيفن ليتشي، إلى جانب العديد من الضيوف المرموقين من مختلف الأوساط الدبلوماسية والسياسية والقيادية في كندا.
أُقيمت الفعالية تحت شعار "ليلة وحدة - إلهام حلول سلمية لأمتنا"، ووفرت فرصة هامة للحوار والتأمل والتفاعل خلال شهر رمضان المبارك. وسلطت الأمسية الضوء على القيم المشتركة المتمثلة في التعاطف والتفاهم والتعاون، وهي قيم أساسية لتعزيز مجتمع كندا المتنوع والشامل.
وقد أعرب ممثلو الكونجرس الكندي العربي عن سعادتهم بالمشاركة في هذا اللقاء السنوي الهام، الذي أصبح تقليدًا راسخًا في منطقة العاصمة الوطنية لأوتاوا على مدى العقد الماضي. ولا يزال هذا الحدث يمثل منصة قيّمة لتعزيز الحوار بين الأديان وتوطيد العلاقات بين قادة المجتمع وصناع القرار.
ويؤكد الكونجرس الكندي العربي التزامه بتعزيز الحوار البنّاء والشراكة والتعاون بين كندا ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، ودعم المبادرات التي تُعزز الوحدة والاحترام المتبادل والتفاعل السلمي داخل المجتمع الكندي.
يعرب الكونجرس الكندي العربي لعلاقات الشرق الأوسط و شمال أفريقيا عن تقديره للمنظمين لاستضافتهم هذه الأمسية المهمة ولجهودهم المتواصلة في الجمع بين القادة من مختلف القطاعات لإلهام الوحدة والهدف المشترك.
