Minister Anand Had a call with her Kuwaiti Counterpart to underscore the strength of Canada and Kuwait relations.

Minister Anand spoke with her Kuwaiti counterpart H.E. Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to underscore the strength of Canada and Kuwait relations, explore opportunities to deepen trade and economic cooperation, and convey Canada’s support for Kuwait following recent drone strikes.

Minister Anand reaffirmed Canada’s commitment to working with our partners in the Gulf to support regional stability, including efforts to ensure the uninterrupted flow of maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.

وأكدت الوزيرة أناند مجدداً التزام كندا بالعمل مع شركائها في الخليج لدعم الاستقرار الإقليمي، بما في ذلك الجهود المبذولة لضمان استمرار حركة الملاحة البحرية عبر مضيق هرمز.
