The Canada Arab Congress on Middle East and North Africa Relations (CACMR) is Honoured for our President, Mr. Abdullatif Al-Shaikh to be part of the Canadian delegation to Saudi Arabia led by the Honourable Maninder Sidhu, Canada’s Minister of International Trade, alongside many of Canada’s leading companies.
Mr. Al-Shaikh had the honour of meeting His Excellency Khalid Al-Falih, as Canada–Saudi trade and investment supports over $4 billion in economic activity and thousands of jobs across Canada.
Minister Sidhu also met with His Royal Highness Abdullah bin Bandar Al Saud to advance cooperation in key sectors including investment, technology, mining, education, and innovation, aligned with Vision 2030.
We witnessed the signing of five major agreements valued at over $600 million, creating new opportunities and jobs in both countries. Canada’s tech leadership was also highlighted by OpenText expanding with a new regional office in Riyadh, reflecting the growing presence of 150+ Canadian companies in the Kingdom.

تشرف الكونجرس الكندي العربي لعلاقات الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا أن يعلن عن بانضمام رئيسنا، السيد عبد اللطيف الشيخ، إلى الوفد الكندي الزائر للمملكة العربية السعودية، برئاسة معالي مانيندر سيدهو، وزير التجارة الدولية الكندي، إلى جانب عدد من الشركات الكندية الرائدة.
وقد تشرف السيد الشيخ بلقاء معالي خالد الفالح، حيث يدعم التبادل التجاري والاستثماري بين كندا والمملكة العربية السعودية نشاطًا اقتصاديًا يتجاوز 4 مليار دولار، ويوفر آلاف الوظائف في جميع أنحاء كندا.
كما التقى الوزير سيدهو بصاحب السمو الملكي الأمير عبد الله بن بندر آل سعود لتعزيز التعاون في قطاعات رئيسية تشمل الاستثمار والتكنولوجيا والتعدين والتعليم والابتكار، بما يتماشى مع رؤية 2030.
وشهدنا توقيع خمس اتفاقيات رئيسية بقيمة تتجاوز 600 مليون دولار، مما أتاح فرصًا ووظائف جديدة في كلا البلدين. كما برزت ريادة كندا في مجال التكنولوجيا من خلال توسع شركة أوبن تكست بافتتاح مكتب إقليمي جديد في الرياض، مما يعكس الحضور المتزايد لأكثر من 150 شركة كندية في المملكة.
ونفخر بدور الكونجرس الكندي العربي لعلاقات الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا في تعزيز هذه الشراكة المهمة وبناء جسور التواصل بين بلدينا.
