Canada Arab Congress On MENA Relations and Turkish Ambassador Meet to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
OTTAWA, ON – October 25, 2024 – The board of the Canada Arab Congress on MENA Relations (CACMR) today held a productive and forward-looking meeting with His Excellency Can Dizdar, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Canada. The dialogue centered on reinforcing the strong diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between Canada and Türkiye, and exploring new avenues for cooperation within the broader Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for a comprehensive discussion on key areas of mutual interest. Topics included strategies to enhance bilateral trade and investment, opportunities for cultural and educational exchanges, and a review of the current geopolitical landscape in the MENA region. Board members of the CACMR and Ambassador Dizdar shared insights and expressed a unified commitment to fostering greater understanding and collaboration.
